First Responders Children’s Foundation

We are pleased to partner with our friends, First Responders Children's Foundation this month for our Bravery and Benevolence movie lineup.

First Responders Children's Foundation provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty and families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. First Responders Children's Foundation also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder organizations that aim to benefit children or the community. Aside from the multiple programs they offer, due to the 2020 pandemic, the foundation created a new program called Mental Health Resiliency. This groundbreaking program faces these challenges head-on. Serving the children of police, fire, sheriff, EMTs, and 911 dispatchers, First Responders Children's Foundation provides free and confidential counseling services for the children of first responders. For children experiencing fear, anxiety, isolation, and other conditions, mental health professionals are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in-person or virtual. It proudly served first responder families in California, New York, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas, with plans to expand into more states.
